The second training course of the “New Miao Project” started.
On November 23, the first phase of the second training course of the company's “New Miao Project” – quality development activities, was successfully completed in Fenghua Power Training School.
In response to the company's "151 Talent Training Strategy" and further strengthening the talent pool and echelon construction, the "New Seedling Plan" was officially launched in 2017. It consists of 3-5 years of undergraduate students and outstanding freshmen in the past two years.
The students of this “New Miao Project” consist of 32 people from the company headquarters and each subordinate unit. The two-day and one-night semi-military management and the Sutuo project and the sand table project exercise, with the experience plus sharing model, let the students learn and grow in competition and cooperation through personal experience, and sum up and improve in failure and success.
On the first day of training, through high-altitude rock climbing, island survival, mutual dependence, Da Vinci password and other projects, the students overcome their inner fears, challenge themselves, and temper their willpower and team competition and cooperation. The next day, the “Desert Nuggets” sand table simulation project tested the participants' ability to manage their goals, teamwork and risk decision-making. In two days, the students broke through themselves one after another, completing a difficult challenge, and gaining experience and moving in summing up and sharing.
It is understood that the training content of the "New Miao Project" will be divided into three stages: quality development, management skills training and benchmarking companies. The Human Resources Department will continue to organize relevant trainings around the role of managers and the ten skills that managers should possess to further strengthen the management skills of the students and help them grow professionally.
